Early Morning Attic Fire

Jan 12 2019 - Crews on duty at our Fire Station 25 and 5 were dispatched to a reported house fire at 7:41am in the morning. First arriving engine from our Station 25 reported smoke showing from the roof of the residence. Crew made entry and confirmed that all occupant were out of the house.
Crew search for the seat of the fire in heavy smoke conditions. Crew discovered that the fire was in the attic and were able to knockdown the fire.

Firefighters had to open up the roof to help remove smoke from the attic so that firefighters inside could finish attacking the fire.

No injuries reported to the family or to firefighters.
