On Oct 22nd Nokesville Vol Fire and Rescue Dept took a short trip down route 29 then down route 211 to Culpeper County. No, it wasn't an emergency, it wasn't a mutual aid call, well it sort of was a mutual aid call.

Nokesville Vol Fire and Rescue donated a 2004 Chevy Suburban, that had reached its end of service, to the Little Fork Vol Fire Dept. The Chevy Suburban spent 13 years as a command vehicle utilized by Nokesville VFD.

Little Fork VFD was extremely happy to have this vehicle donated to them. Just recently their 23 year old Ford Expedition went out of service, permanently, with major mechanical breakdown.

Handing the keys and title over to Little Fork VFD, Chief Doug Monaco (R) is Nokesville VFD President, Mark Engman (L)

Thank you Nokesville Volunteer F&R! I am a Culpeper resident who drives through LIttle Fork's service area on a daily basis. We truly appreciate your donation to Little Fork. Your generosity is appreciated! Be safe out there!
