We Welcome Newest Firefighter Gavin Metaxa

July 17 2019 - We are pleased to announce that one of our Rookie Firefighters, Gavin Metaxa, has successfully completed all training and has become a certified Firefighter after graduating from the Fire Academy. Chief Silva, Deputy Chief Conway and members of Gavin's crew attended the graduation event at the Prince William County Public Safety Training Academy.

July 1 2019 - As we prepare to celebrate our nation's birthday we are also mourning the lose of a landmark in the Nokesville area. Fire Station 5, which provided services to the community for over 50 years, has been demolished. The new Fire Station 5 opening on June 14 2019 at 6pm.

New Station 5 Officially Opens

June 14 2019 - At 6pm our new Fire Station 5 opened for service to the community. Groundbreaking took place in April 2018. 14 months later we are running calls out of the new fire station.
Prince William County Supervisor Jeanine Lawson stopped by at the beginning of the shift to wish everyone a safe shift and thank all of us for the dedication we have for serving the community.

New Tanker 505 is Placed In-Service

May 31 2019 - We are excited to announce that our new Tanker 505 (K505) was placed in-service at 6am this morning. This is the first new tanker for us in over 20 years. Here is the specification on the new tanker:
Manufacture: E-One
Model: 2018 Cyclone II
Pump: 1250 Single Stage PTO Pump
Tank Capacity: 3030 Gallons
Drop Tanks: 1 3000 tank & 1 2500 tank
Supply Line: 1000’ of 4” LDH

Visit to E-One Facility for Mid-Point Inspection

Chief Silva, Deputy Chief Conway and Lt. Horvath are performing Mid-Point inspection on our 2 new fire engines. These 2 new engines will replace 2 of our current engines that are 15 years old. The process is a long process from design to bidding to building. We are excited to partner with E-One again on this effort.
