Nokesville Vol Fire Dept. Station 25 and Station 5 are official drop off locations for US Marine Corp Toys for Tots Foundation.

NVFD has been in contact with the North Pole again this year. After some intense negotiations with the scheduling elves, and some bribery consisting of the promise of hot cocoa and warm, oven baked cookies, we are happy to announce that we will once again be escorting Santa to see all of the good boys and girls of our first due (primary coverage area) for Nokesville, Bristow, and Gainesville.

The members of Nokesville Vol Fire Dept. were sadden to learn of the passing of our former Chief Richard "Dick" King.

Richard Leland "Dick" King, 91 of Nokesville, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. He was born March 26, 1921 in Reading, PA and the family moved to Nokesville when he was two, residing on the home place "Centerview Farm" his parents purchased in 1928. He was preceded ... On Oct 22nd Nokesville Vol Fire and Rescue Dept took a short trip down route 29 then down route 211 to Culpeper County. No, it wasn't an emergency, it wasn't a mutual aid call, well it sort of was a mutual aid call.

The 2017 Youth for Tomorrow Country Fair was one of the largest to date. An estimated 6,000 people attended the event on Oct 7th between 10am and 5pm. Units and Volunteer Firefighters and EMTs from Nokesville Station 5 and 25 provided medical stand-by (First Aid) along with our new Tower 525 to show the kids all the cool equipment that is on our Tower.
