Junior Firefighter Program Restarted

Oct 25 2018 - Chief Silva and the Board of Directors of the Nokesville Vol. Fire and Rescue Dept. agreed to bring back the Junior Firefighter program. This program is designed to help introduce teenagers, age 16 and 17, to the field of volunteer firefighting and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). It is with great sadness that we must say goodbye to Life Member Bruce Bennett.

Bruce lived in Nokesville Virginia. He was a active member of the Nokesville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department and Rescue Squad until his retirement from active volunteer service. Oct 6 2018 - What a beautiful day for a Country Fair. Volunteer Firefighters and EMTs from our department participated in the Youth for Tomorrow Country Fair. One of the largest events in our area our volunteer firefighters and EMTs spent the day educating the public on volunteer fire service and the kids got to see the workings of our ladder truck and fire engine.

Sept 30 2018 - For the 5th year in a row we participated in this great event in support of Discovery Junction. Since 2013 this event has grown in size and participants. Originally held at the GMU Freedom Center they had to move the event to the Prince William Fair Grounds in 2015. Welcome Home New Tanker 505

Sept 19 2018 - On a beautiful afternoon we took delivery of our new 2018 E-One Tanker. This tanker will be staffed out of our Station 5.
The members of Nokesville Vol Fire and Rescue dedicated this tanker to former Chief Richard 'Dick' King. To officially accept the tanker on behalf of the late Chief King was Life Member Phyllis King, wife of Chief King.
