Large Brush Fire Contained

At 1:45pm on March 10th units from Nokesville Volunteer Station 5 along with our volunteer crews at Station 25 were dispatched to a outside fire in the 12400 block of Parkgate Dr. Nokesville VA.

Engine 505 and Brush 505 arrived on scene and were confronted with a fast moving grass fire encroaching on a century old barn. Crews were able to stop the fire just a few feet away from this historic barn. ... (Full Story & Photos)

Training Keeps Our Skills Sharp

The crew from Engine 525 took advantage of the great weather on Sunday to practice hose line deployment. Where do you locate an area with obstacles already in place? You go to the locale playground. Yes, the playground equipment is perfect allowing our firefighters to navigate through a complex environment.

March 3rd House Fire Haymarket VA

Nokesville Volunteer Crews along side our brothers and sisters from Prince William County Fire and Rescue responded to fully involved house fire in Haymarket VA at 7pm on March 3rd.

As crews arrived on scene additional units were requested because no hydrants are in this rural area. This is common in rural areas of Prince William County so firefighters requested a tanker shuttle bringing tankers ... (Full Story & Photos)

No Caption Wild Winds Equals Increased Number of Calls

As of 2000hrs this evening the call volume seems to be slowing. The Volunteers from Nokesville VFD along with our career brothers from Prince William County have responded to over 2 dozen calls for Outside Fires, Hazards with power lines, Hazards with down trees to just name a few of the calls we responded to. Serving the Community

Volunteer firefighters and EMTs server the community along side our Career Firefighters this weekend. Over 20 units are staffed by volunteers in Prince William County. We work closely with our career brothers and sisters from Prince William County Fire and Rescue.
