Looking For Vehicle Donations JUNE 10 - Fire departments rely on vehicle donations for some of the department's fire training. The donated cars are used to train firefighters on extracting people who are trapped in vehicles. Fire departments large and small practice auto extrication so members of the department can learn how to use extrication tools and techniques to remove people quickly and safely from vehicles after auto accidents. ... Accident on Route 28 Near Vint Hill Road Causes Traffic Backup MAY 20 - Cars departing the Nokesville Day Parade and festival were stuck in traffic while an NVFDRS ambulance crew and an Engine Crew assisted with an accident on Rt. 28.
